My First Black Friday Sale! - And the importance of giving back....

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to wrap my arms around you and say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported this dream.  Whether you are a customer, social media friend or part of our stitching community here in Wilmington, I am GRATEFUL for your friendship and connection.  

The retail experience is one that I have been wanting to have for years.  As a retired corporate exec and business consultant, I have never tried my hand at direct sales - ever.  And boy, have I been on a ride!  From the beginning, building my online shop, to opening my physical location here in Wilmington... I am learning SO MUCH and having the best time of my life.  My heart and life are full. 

As a way of sharing my gratitude, I'm offering a Black Friday promotion that not only gives back to you, but to the community.  

At the end of the road where I live is the St. James AME Church.  Every week they hold a food pantry and the street and parking areas are clogged with folks in need.  And in the past few weeks, that need has grown significantly.  I'm sure you each have similar experiences where you live.  I pray for all that are in need and want to do my part to help.  

On Friday 11/28, everything on my website will be 35% off for one day.  Five percent of my BF sales will be donated to this small, but powerful food pantry.  Let's support our neighbors while we find our joy in this wonderful, creative hobby.  Happy Holidays.
